The suitability of this remarkable Grand Seiko quartz movement for the international traveler is further enhanced by the addition of a GMT hand. The high accuracy (+/- 10 seconds per year) of the caliber 9F86 is not affected when changing the time zone, as the watch continues to run perfectly even when the crown is pulled out and the hour hand is moved to set the local time. The GMT hand is clearly distinguished from the hour and minute hands, and the 24-hour dial ring is divided into two 12-hour sections, making AM and PM easy to distinguish.
